Community Contest

Submissions are closed as of September 21st and I am happy to announce the winner of the Name the Pirate Grog contest! Congratulations to Bartoscs for his winning entry:

Plunder Punch: A fiery blend of tropical fruits and dark spiced rum, brewed to fuel brawls and bad decisions.

The competition was fierce, with many hilarious and creative submissions that made it tough to choose just one. Here are some of my personal favorites as honorable mentions:

Jawslosh: Tired of teeth? Jawslosh is for you!

The Grogfather: An offer your liver can't refuse. May cause brain damage.
(by Nay)

Ocean Tonic: May contain one or more of the following: kerosene, peanuts, propylene glycol, grog, artificial sweeteners, other tree nuts, sulfuric acid, rum, acetone, apples, axle grease and/or pepperoni.

Thanks for everyone who participated and congratulations to the winner!

Day 5 - Audio Visual Overhaul

Extended Soundtrack

This update adds sixteen brand new tracks, totaling more than 45 minutes of music. Every dungeon type now has its own atmosphere, and exploration feels more immersive than ever. Whether you are delving into familiar halls or venturing into new locations, the expanded soundtrack makes each journey feel richer and more memorable.

Improved Blood Particles

Combat has gained a new level of intensity. Fresh blood effects have been added for all enemy types, making every strike feel more impactful and giving clearer feedback in the heat of battle. The result is faster recognition of combat outcomes and a more visceral sense of danger.

Improved Visuals

The world of RAIDBORN has been polished across the board. Enhanced fog rendering, improved lighting, and the addition of new weather states such as night conditions create more dynamic and atmospheric environments. Combined with fixes to lingering visual bugs, these improvements make the game world feel sharper, smoother, and more alive.
