Day 2 - New Bosses & Enemy Overhaul
New Boss Enemies
New boss enemies have been added, each introducing unique mechanics and clearly readable abilities. These encounters raise the stakes of high-level combat and bring fresh threats to the battlefield.
- Boggart Troll: A hulking giant that hurls poisonous barrels, turning the battlefield into a deadly hazard zone.
- Hunger Butcher: A mutated monstrosity radiating a disease aura that drains stamina from those who stray too close.
- Zombie Priest: A corrupted cleric that sustains itself and nearby undead by channeling dark restorative powers.
- Orc Goliath: A towering brute that unleashes devastating stomp attacks to crush nearby Adventurers.
Enemy Overhaul
Existing bosses and mini bosses have been refined across all enemy species. Abilities have been reworked to improve clarity, balance, and intent, making encounters more consistent, skill-driven, and fair.
- Zombie Lich: Formerly the Necromancer. The resurrection ability has been expanded to summon new zombies in addition to reviving fallen allies.
- Wildling Stone Giant: Former ability has been replaced with a chunk-based regeneration system, requiring aggressive, consecutive attacks to deal lasting damage.
- Skeleton Defender: Features the new chunk-based regeneration for increased durability.
- Hunger Behemoth: Former ability has been replaced with an infectious glob attack that creates lingering puddles, inflicting permanent stamina damage on those caught within.
- Goblin Marauder: Throws bombs, adding ranged pressure and battlefield disruption.
- Boggart Warlock: Former ability has been replaced with a poison curse.
- Drowned Admiral: Former ability has been replaced with a weakening curse.
- Orc Berserker: Rage Mode has been refined to trigger more reliably and remain active longer.
- Zombie Race Trait: Zombie regeneration has been replaced with health steal, to be more active and counterable.
